OK, if that's what you get, you have a problem. Since you found the "leave conversation", I assume you got it all right up to that point.
What browser are you using, it may be conflicting with the new program.
Best you check with the "powers that be" ... I imagine they are getting lots of questions about this time
Sorry It didn't work .. I don't have anymore suggestions, since that's how I do it, and it sounds like that's how you did it ???

Thanks, Scott. I don't come here that often, but there's not much going on down below lately. Also, this is where everybody is who is talking about the new forum. (Down below they're actually talking about REOs and attys and coils and such. LOL)

I read you've been with Clyde lately. You guys need to come up here again sometime. Vapor Kings has another store here (that you haven't been to.) wish we all could get together a little more often....

Good Morning REOVille. I never completely figured out what the old Forum did, I just got in here and started posting. It took six months to figure out what an 'Avatar' was, and nearly two years to upload a music video. ("Hey Papaw, you ever heard of YouTube ?")

Now they go and change everything. I have to 'relearn', and this old trucker gets really tired of new stuff too easy. But, I have got a bunch of friends in here, so....

Hye y'all, if you want to center your signature, go up to your Forum user name on the top right in RED and mouse over it, in the drop down on the left is "signature"..

Click on it.

When you are in your signature editing screen, choose the the little icon in the upper right corner as the one is here in the forums, or use BB code to edit...

At the beginning of your stuff (it should look like all text) using the "PIPE" or left bracket, lower case next to the "P" on your keyboard, then the word CENTER, and then the right "PIPE" symbol which is next to the "\" key.

At the end of your text type the same command but put a "/" before the word CENTER. (also with the two PIPES).

Because this is a BB coded forum I cannot type the actual command to show y'all....

The PIPE symbol is the verticle bar "|". Located on the last key on the right, above the reverse slash (virgule). The "[]" are called square brackets, and when combined with the shift key become braces. "{}"

It's not possible for the REO quitbanners to run backwards. How do I know this? Because I wrote the software that generates them.

I believe what you're seeing is ECF's cache expiring and then showing a newer cached version, which is still out of date compared to the original uncached version of the image. The long and short of it is any perceived missteps in time are the fault of the ECF cache, not the actual banner. If you go directly to the banner image's URL, you still get current, accurate numbers.

The question really becomes 'how out of date can it ever get?' - if it never moves again that's a problem and it's worthless then as a counter.

But if it is a day or so out of date, well i'm not too bothered about that.

I'm one of those crazy atomic clock people. It will have to work accurately or I'll get something else to put there.

I like the alerts a lot. I've them set up for when people quote me or like stuff and you can go straight to where you were.

Same deal with 'subscribed' (now called threads you follow) and so on. It means i can cause a lot more hassle in a far shorter period of time than before!

Uploading pictures and things - well, i never did too much of that anyway and i can still easily link to photobucket if i want.
Moods and a smaller avatar - worthless. Points and trophies - worthless. Arcade games - yeah - take me back to 1980! pfft!

Yeah, but you have to adjust it for that 1 second every 30 million years. Who needs that kinda hassle?
