Another cool thing about radar is some of the stuff you'll find on it that isn't weather related...

These are called roosting rings... They can be caused by birds or bats going out of or coming into roost. These are thought to be birds in this instance but I do know that south Texas has a lot of bats also..

Swarms of insects can also cause returns on the radar such as the one I posted a while back calling it "Maxie" cause of the snake shaped appearance it had... that was either insects, fog or mist coming up off of the river in Tennessee or Kentucky ( can't recall now which ).

OBG, you'll love this. Took apart the spool on the weedeater today, wasn't happy with how if fed out. Somehow or other, got about a 3/4 ft length on each side. Worked like it was on steroids

Strange I worked with a guy years ago that had that same problem till he took my weed eater class
