Are there any DIY flavor vendors out there that do not add alcohol to their flavor bases. Reducing on a stove damages flavor, and ultrasound without the caps on seems to take forever. What do you experienced folks do?
I do not like the taste of a DIY Mix with Alcohol in the flavorings and I heat the e-liquid, then open the cap of a freshly shaken bottle. As the bubbles go away the alcohol goes with it. Just my opinion from personal hands on experience.
I do as Steve does with them. Just heat mine in a crockpot long enough to get the juice warm, or if just one bottle I put in in a jar & run hot tap water over it for a few minutes. Then shake really well, uncap, & let it sit a few hours or overnight. Give it a sniff & might do it again. Doesn't take long at all.
One thing to consider, when using an alcohol based flavor when you burn it off or let the air take it your changing the flavor quite a bit. the small volatile molecules of the flavor, what you smell when you open the bottle, are leaving your flavor forever. I would suggest one of two things in regards to them, either avoid their use or use less if you do not like the flavor as is
