cool, i will check the wattage of my current aspire sticks first and compare, and then go for either, thanks for your help.

    switching to mod questions

Cool, now incidentally I found a 40w for about $10 less than the 50w, would the price difference make it worthwhile in power/charge compromise u think? As for the ego, interesting you mentioned that, as the description mentions it comes with an adapter, so that's well.

    switching to mod questions

Thanks for clearing that up, oh, and should've remembered to use 'mod box'. Looking at the istick 50w atm, might go for it, and hope for it to be better than the aspire stick bats, which i get the sense it is, as far as faster charging time and longer charge. I took it external vs built in...

    switching to mod questions

Yea, using another stick battery I wouldn't want to due to these experiences. I thought using a mod with replaceable batteries, thou not sure whether it'd be more expensive long run. How do vapers pick mods in general. There are so many brands, knowing which ones to stay clear of might be a...

    switching to mod questions

I posted some time ago of aspire batteries acting up. They looked very 'nice', but took a day and a half to charge, and by now they hold too little charge. Will a mod last longer from using separate batteries? Do all/most mods use the same type of batteries? And, if i mainly need a reliable...

Aspire nautilus mini suddenly stopped working

Yea, would seem some stuff must be blocking it. Now that led me to recall I forgot to wick the new coil before inhaling at first, but let it soak as soon as i noticed the burnt taste, after which the burnt taste went away. So it worked after that, then 'suddenly' went full stop, after switching...

Aspire nautilus mini suddenly stopped working

Good news, it works with the old coil! So it was the coil, however this old coil is done, hence the new one, anyone knows what could be wrong with the coil to 'suddenly' prevent heat/vaporization?

Aspire nautilus mini suddenly stopped working

well, i did contact aspire support, waiting for a reply. i did clean the inside of the base, and tried with two separate batteries. i also cleaned out the coil with a blower, as well as fiddled a bit with the peg on the inside of the base, which 'may be' slightly' tilted, but can't tell for...

Aspire nautilus mini suddenly stopped working

Well, unfortunately i don't have a second one. Find it weird how this 'dead' unit can prevent a heat up when there's connection with the battery. It'd be like a room preventing a heater from working while it's plugged into a working outlet. Also, it's just a battery, not mod, the aspire one...

Aspire nautilus mini suddenly stopped working

Well, from what I can see everything looks ok, no gaps between components detected visually. The coil's screwed on tightly, if that's what its supposed to. Still only a faint clicking noise upon inhalation, zero vapor.

Aspire nautilus mini suddenly stopped working

So, basically I screwed on a newly charged battery, and now this tank wouldn't produce any vapor, no matter how long i hold the battery heat button. On every drag it makes a faint click noise. I tried with another battery, no difference. Looks like everything's connected inside the tank, i...

Any atomizer that doesn't need coil replacements?

Yes, that's why i won't go back to cigs. Btw, is there a way to fix a burnt coil, like clearing out the burn or something? Will the nautlius coils need replacement about as often as the ce-5's? And thanks for the pics.

Any atomizer that doesn't need coil replacements?

Or, clearomizer, or whatever. Currently I have the aspire ce5-s, and the point was to save due to cigalikes constant replacement costs, but these frnkly, gdamn devices apparently require almost, if not quite, as frequent replacements, and some new coils turn out to be bad (burns out of the...

    Battery upgrade recommendation?

Lots to learn in this area to be sure. I wonder though, comparing cigalike vape to e-juice the e-juice i have doesn't taste as well, it basically has this oily flair, possibly olive oil, which i don't like very much. Do u know if that's generic to e-juice or has to do with the vg ratio? Trying...

    Battery upgrade recommendation?

Yea, i'll probably look at the ileaf gs after receiving the new coils. I wonder though, the reviews and specs were prty consistent on these aspire batteries charging in 2-5 hours and lasting for at least a whole day, which i guess they do more or less if fully charged, so am not sure whether to...

    Battery upgrade recommendation?

Well, the purpose was also to save money, since cigalike cartridges add up rapidly. But it looks like real vaping might be even more of a hassle, with so many brands and devices, techniques etc. I basically sought to replace cigalikes with something longer lasting, and better vapor as a bonus...

    Battery upgrade recommendation?

Ok, starting to get clearer. I'm looking at the eleaf gs-air at the moment, being much cheaper than the nautilus mini, and after these experiences with aspire, i'm sensing a bit hyperbole. But there's a chance i might be even more disappointed with the eleaf, but at least it's cheap enough...

    Battery upgrade recommendation?

Thanks for the advice, so since i'm a newbie as far as non cigalikes, mixing brands between tank and battery doesn't matter, correct, it's all about whether the battery threading goes on the inside or outside correct? I keep reading in their descriptions that each coil/clearomizer brand is made...

    Aspire ce5-s clearomizer leaking

Thanks, looked them up, so i saw they come in different ohms, does it matter as far as the battery?
