So, basically I screwed on a newly charged battery, and now this tank wouldn't produce any vapor, no matter how long i hold the battery heat button.

On every drag it makes a faint click noise.

I tried with another battery, no difference.

Looks like everything's connected inside the tank, i detect no error.

The clearomizer is new, and again the unit worked up until I recently screwed on a newly charged battery, and is the first time it's happened.

Check the center pin and see if it is protruding enough to make contact with your 510 pin on the mod. Good luck, hope you get it working if the idea I have isn't the issue.

I agree with Jingles....sometimes when removing the base, the coil head also unscrews with it. It is a good practice to check to see if the coil head is firmly screw in every time you take the base off. After a couple of times its just becomes habit.

Well, from what I can see everything looks ok, no gaps between components detected visually.

The coil's screwed on tightly, if that's what its supposed to.

Still only a faint clicking noise upon inhalation, zero vapor.

Do you have another mod that you can put the RDA/RDTA on and see if it's the mod..or..do you have another RDA/RDTA that you can put on your mod to see if it's the RDA/RDTA?

Well, unfortunately i don't have a second one. Find it weird how this 'dead' unit can prevent a heat up when there's connection with the battery. It'd be like a room preventing a heater from working while it's plugged into a working outlet.
Also, it's just a battery, not mod, the aspire one supposedly carbon fiber.

As for age, I may not be 116, but not far off..

well, i did contact aspire support, waiting for a reply. i did clean the inside of the base, and tried with two separate batteries. i also cleaned out the coil with a blower, as well as fiddled a bit with the peg on the inside of the base, which 'may be' slightly' tilted, but can't tell for sure. thing is, just as this happened, my ce5-s coils all failed, some of them were new and failed out of the box, so i had to revert to a cigalike, which at least works. the coils start gurgling out of the box, one after the other. i think only 2 worked properly, this is aspire.

Also Steve, good idea, i thought of trying with the old coil, and will be the last attempt, and see if it works.

Yea, would seem some stuff must be blocking it. Now that led me to recall I forgot to wick the new coil before inhaling at first, but let it soak as soon as i noticed the burnt taste, after which the burnt taste went away. So it worked after that, then 'suddenly' went full stop, after switching battery. Tried wiping and blowing it out, but still nothing, too bad i told aspire support it was the clearomizer, rather than the coil.
