I think in the next 2 years you'll see a lot of media hype about the great ills of vaping, it's part of the grand scheme of things. BT doesn't just feed the politicians you know.

used to be if you made more than an obscene amount of money, you'd have to pay pretty much all of the corpulence+ dollars in taxes. Now, you just get to keep it and spend it on whatever you'd like ( . .. like countries, for example). So, our society use'ta-had a sort of check on the cancer of OCD ultrawealth behavior thru it's taxes. Now there's nothing to keep that organ of our societal body from going completely berserk (well, except for its own sense of fair play, decency, and the recognition that it is dependent upon the surrounding body for its own survival .. . which . .. well . . .. sing it to the songbirds and the grasses of the field).

Did the fact that nobody was able to accumulate much wealth put much of a damper on government corruption in the old communist countries, you know, like, say Hungary between 1918 and 1989?

Happy to answer questions, discuss, banter, chit-choot-chat. Happy to entertain variations on the above gameplan. Just wanted to lay it out the way I see it, and concisely. I don't see how we're in a mega rush to run this cat through the grinder. I do believe this is more about long term planning. So, if you want to gauge interest (if there's concern that 100 won't be enough), and then revisit the topic before I sign on the dotted, that's fine.

. .. actually, know what? . . . I wouldn't mind having a better idea myself, of how many atties are called for here.

I know you know I know you know I hate thread-lists . .. but it would be the most expeditious way to gauge interest while I'm making inquiries at the machine shop.

there's plenty of other parts that are non-negotiable.

seriously tho, the batch size is just wayyyy too small to be asking for any kind of variation in materials (= ordering stock in that material, machine stop/start, machine setup, running samples, skipping lunch, ouch!) and not see the prices soar. With the black especially, because that needs to be fabbed in Aluminum and then sent out to the anodizer.
