I was using the Subtank perfectly fine and happy with it for months and when I got some new twisted kanthal I wanted to try today. I went to change out the coil and ended up some how removing the post off of the peak insulator but it just snapped right back on but then like 5 min later it just slowly came back off, is there any way to secure it back down or is it trashed?

The bottom post of the rebuildable section actually screws on and off and directly connects to the positive post. If you loosen that bottom post the top positive post where you would tighten your wire down will move up and down. Is this what you mean?

If so, just tighten it all back up by twisting the bottom fitting back into place finger tight (while making sure the top positive post is in the correct position) then snug it all up by running something like an allen key through the two of the holes in the bottom rebuildable section post and turning until sufficiently "snug".
