How old is it? It may have perished. However, you can try taking off the tank and turning off the battery (three clicks, I think). Leave it off for a few seconds, then turn it on and off a few times before putting the tank back on and trying again. While it's apart, you might also try cleaning the bits where the tank screws into the battery.

it could be a dead coil in the tank (assuming it uses replaceable coils) in which case you need to replace the coil

yes i changed the coil just now and it is working fine thank you

i cleaned the connection bits and changed the coil and it works thank you
