Fell into the same hole most of you all fell into.. Someone put up a sign!!!

Received the 1st of three that I've ordered, this one being black from MVS (along with 4 coils). MVS had these listed for the longest time with no selection available. As soon as that changed, I threw one in the cart and two days later.. it's in my hands!! $25.41 total with shipping.

I like small mods so this is impressing me! I normally keep six mods nearby (only one not made by me) and I know I'm going to want the other two iCare's I ordered for myself instead of giving them to the wife who will really enjoy these!

The airflow is a bit tight even though I have it wide open for DTL draw, but I can adjust to it. This will work great at my job where I'm always worrying about breaking my normal mods as they are klunky in the pocket jumping up and down into buses and trucks. These things? I might forget they are there!

Taste is full, my Natural Strawberry eliquid tastes just as good in this as it does my normal STM and while the draw is tight for me, it still puts out a cloud and feels great on the throat.

I ordered a red one from VaperSourcing (that Pre-sell place) for $14 with shipping on the 15th and it's currently in Chicago. A gold one was ordered through fasttech, but I let it sit with a couple other items I wanted until an eight day delay on one of those items came up, and now it's on the way.

Good thing I have a payday next week.. MSV is probably going to get another order from me!

Let me ask you, do you normally use cotton? The reason I ask is that the flavor on my iCare is a little off to me, but I normally use rayon and I think that this is the reason.
I use both Rayon and Cotton in my toppers, and the flavor is muted in the iCare (also the My.Von.Erl) for me, but that could be just a me thing.

I also use rayon and cotton. I do believe I taste a hint of silica in there, been a while since I've had that. Not enough to really mess with my tastes, but it might be strong enough for others.

I have been dripping on 510 atomizers since day one.
And that's 7+ years now on silica wicks.

As I posted earlier in this thread, the flavor is muted compared to my normal setup.
And I also taste something a bit funny sometimes.

I was thinking it was cotton that I was tasting.
It seemed to taste a little "fuzzy" to me.

To me it also seems like a dry vape compared to my regular mods.

Happy to say my regular iCare is still working fine. Still enjoying it very much.

I decided not to return the mini/PCC and just chalk it up to a defective device or perhaps user error. I did overfill it at least once and may have gotten some nicquid where it shouldn't be. Or something.

I just didn't want to return the PCC which works fine or the coils which will get used. I will order another standalone mini and be back where I started. Out about as much as a pack of the nasties.

:)

Well just ordered some Silica sheets and SS-316L (32 gauge) from FT to try on my next try at rebuilding one of these little coils. Going to try 8 wraps at 1.5mm, should turn out around 1.5Ω. I am using 32 gauge because it will heat (and cool) faster than 30 gauge. It will be a couple of weeks for delivery, but I will post an update when I try again. :D

$1.80 Authentic Youde UD 316L Stainless Steel Heating Wire for RBA Atomizer - 32 AWG / 0.2mm dia. / 10m at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$2.58 Rectangle Silica Wick for RDA RTA RBA Rebuildable Atomizers (20-Pack) 20-pack - single rectangle size: 80*50mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Would the iCare system leak with 100% PG mix? I'm guessing the answer is yes, the same as other tank systems.

I'm finding, with that mix, there is no visible vapor on the exhale if it all comes from my lungs after holding it a second or 2. (All you get is a nic fix. Flavor and texture are sub par.)

Now I'm looking for the smallest possible device but there can't be a leaking issue. Normally I use an rda with a single side air supply I can seal with a slip ring for pocket carry. I'm waiting on an Evic Basic to power it and hoping the combination is stealthy enough.

Then I want to find out what objections there are going to be when the device and the vapor are not visible.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
PBusardo's latest video concerning these:

TL;DW Apparently wouldn't recommend to a smoker due to how small and fiddly they are. He does however say that they are a perfect companion device for a vaper to get some nic in addition to their cloudier mod

ok,, i had to stop watching the stingray reg mod video,,,my drulling was getting out of control :)

I'm looking at Elementvape's site at a Eleaf iCare Mini PCC Ultra-Portable System, for $16.95. A good price, but it seems what they are showing is the iCare, with no pcc. Maybe it's just me and too early in the morning, but something's not right here.
Eleaf iCare Mini PCC Ultra-Portable System | Optional 2300mAh PCC
It is the mini, look at the mouth piece, it is centered, not to the side, and "with an optional 2300mAh PCC platform" which I see you noticed.

I have not used 100% PG but have used a 70PG/30VG mix without leaking, but there is vapor, if you held it 5 seconds it is way less, but still vapor.

Ahh ok, now I see "optional" pcc. But anyway the Icare shown is not the mini I don't believe. It's confusing to me.
No that is the mini. You can tell cuz the mouthpiece is centered. On the full size the mouthpiece is set more toward the tank side.

Edit : Whoops Burnie beat me to it.
