I've looked for answers to this question on here and was not able to find any. What is the difference between annealed 316L and non-annealed 316L other than softness/springiness? Is there any difference in taste, resistance, longevity?
Annealed metal - means heated to make it less springy and make it softer. If you dry burn coil, you anneal it anyway. So, most of us are vaping on annealed metal anyway. I prefer to buy annealed wire - easier to work with.

Thanks for the response. I need to get some wire and l I can get 100 ft for 5.99 or 100 ft of annealed for 7.99. I've been using UD 316L from a small 30 ft spool. I'm assuming it has not been annealed.
