Best battery for IPV MINI 2?

Hey guys, just upgraded to an ipv MINI 2. This will be my first mod with an external battery. I know it takes a flat top 18650. My question is, for this particular ecig, what is the best battery to go with? I am completely new to these batteries, I thought about a purple efest, but am weary of the controversy about them.
Can anyone tell me what a safe bet is? I don't want an explosion while vaping lol. Hoping to hear from someone who knows their stuff or has this particular mod.

I use Sony VTC4 or 5, or Samsung 25r. These are all rated as high drain batteries. There are others, but these are the only 18650 batteries that I have actually used in my regulated box mods.

until they're manufacturing VTC5s again we should probably just leave them out of the picture
the chances of every VTC5 on ebay being a fake are pretty good

until something better comes along Samsung 25R IMO

Agreed, unless you know it's a genuine Sony, the 25r is the safest bet. All I use until something better is proven hits the market
