That's the reasoning I was planning to share with the little lady. Good thing is that I will be getting mine first so she will be able to see it in all it's naked glory! She doesn't know I ordered her one for Xmas so I'll be able to get her feedback before hers is made.
I would like to throw out another option, far cheaper than cerakote: Jwraps.
Contact Jwraps and work with them so her mod can be shipped to them from CC. They will make a template of the perfect fit for it and she can choose from any of their designs. She can then change them out if one is damaged or she just wants a new look. If you remove it very carefully and put it back on the original backing, she can reuse it many times over. They are quite durable which really helps if you are throwing it into a bag/purse. The extra benefit is that the mod will always look brand new underneath. They come in clear, too. I really like the clear carbon fiber.

I never stopped to think that they would make a special template just for 1 mod. I have seen their wraps on other models and look great. If they would make a template and offer wrap options that would be awesome!!!
