In order to fix the boo-boo like that, you have to go into plain text mode in the editor. When you click the edit link, it's the far right icon on the editing toolbar. Looks like a wrench on a piece of paper. This reveals the internal bbcode and you can fix things there.

The best way? Copy the URL, type [plain], paste the URL, then type [/plain]. That way there's no editing involved afterwards.
lol Retired was trying to teach me to do links so the forum wouldn't parse them. Teaching me tech will drive anyone mad. I had to go to the sandbox to practice.

I think I did that on one of my practices, but I just did link and it seemed to work. Also found out ya don't have to put bb code in all caps. Since ECF does the quotes in all caps I thought ya had to.
But anyhow, to get back on topic, I need someone who is good in MS Office to help me out and I'll be able to upload the bag insert template to give to B&Ms and online vendors.
I don't know much about this other than I've heard of it and seen it used...

Ummm, no. Tiny URL has the very nasty habit of changing things after the fact and reusing URLs that then point to things like porn. It's happened here on ECF a few times.

I love what you have said, and if you'd rather leave it as is, that's fine....... but so many vapers have no idea that the vaping industry is REALLY going to go away if things aren't changed. I think that message needs to be up front. If you wouldn't mind.......keep the message in red, but change the date to bolded black. Would you mind doing this?? Folks would also then have a choice of which they'd like to use. put it in place of the red section that says They need our help.... and then move that to the top under take action now.

I do have this message on the bag enclosures, but would love to have it on the flyer as well.
I have the file done, and will post it as soon as I figure out how. We need to ask B&Ms and also online vendors to put it in customer's bags, as well as the packages the online vendors mail out. If they could get their printers to do it as a front and back business card, that would be great, but they can also print/copy it onto paper, cut it up and enclose it. It will cost them some, but I would definitely tell them that it may just help them stay in business. The front part is the first page and the back part is the second page. If we can attach it, I'd like to attach it to the first post of this thread. And also on the front and back porch.

When we get this right, I will post it here for all.
The B&M I went to was very nice and receptive. They do know what is going on, and donate to the industry organization SFATA regularly. They already have their tobacco sales license, so they are covered there. We discussed several things that they were not aware of, things to check out for their situation, We had a great, I felt, intelligent, conversation. It's a small mall space, open, airy, quiet on one branch of the mall. Lots of neat mods and such, I am actually thinking of going back and spend some time! Check out some of these new toys.
OK, been offline all day, got lots of catching up to do. But nothing really to type so I'm gonna sign off the computer and pick back up in my easy chair, with a nice vape, and hit the phone.
Yanno what. I'm going to go with your version. I looked on YT to see how to convert a PDF to a Word doc, did that, and began changing it to how I was seeing it in my head. It just became wayyyyy too busy. I also realized that this will be hanging on the wall of B&Ms, and hopefully those same B&Ms will also utilize the bag inserts that has the wording on it that I was wanting to add to the flyer. So folks will still be able to read it. Your version is far less cluttered, and easier to read. Thanks though!

Thanks Deb. I love @Von Vape 's original, but the IDBM listing came after he did the original. And believe me, people don't read. And if it's too complicated or flashy, they won't be bothered.
