Focus people, FOCUS!(MHO)
(Also MHO) Just a thought, since Oliver was kind enough to provide a pasted banner and thread (THANK YOU, OLIVER!!!) perhaps this thread could evolve into not only a "support thread" but a "Battle Cry Thread" as well. It seemed to work pretty well with the billboard issue. The reason I mention this is because I have a similar issue right here in my little town. Here's the add just as it appeared on the front page of the "free press" newspaper, right below the local "franchised" vape shop add (tell me THAT didn't take some "greasing"!):

At first I just rolled my eyes, here we go again!!! Then I got![]()
!!!!! Same story, tell the lie, make it look "official & intelligent" and let "the sheep" lap it up!
I want to write a rebuttal in the same paper and did the research on the "Flavor Extract and Manufacturing Assn." (and yes, they use FEMA as their acronym too!!!) and found that they are an extension of the FDA.I searched their warning label requirements and could not find any such label or requirement. I have also never seen any such label on any e-liquid but did find a "suggestion" by them in their literature for manufacturers to post such warnings for their employees so they wouldn't turn a "safe" flavoring into a "dangerous" one by ingesting the heated vapors. (Even that is a stretch IMO). Further, the picture is OBVIOUSLY photo shopped and you've gotta LOVE the "Bubblegum" E-Liquid label. After all it's all about protecting the children, right!
LIS, I want so badly to lash out at this type of thing. (What I'd really like to be able to afford is SUE them for false advertising.) BUT, I also realize the need to be 100% accurate & correct in my response. I'm hoping someone knows more about the "F.E.M.A.", Labeling requirements, postings at manufacturing facilities and anything else you might spot in the ad, than me and give me suggestions/verifiable documentation to RIP THEIR HEADS OFF, with.(Please PM me so we don't clog up the thread.
You're certainly welcome to comment here, though.

Thanks for getting and staying involved. EVERY VOLLEY NEEDS TO BE RESPONDED TO!!!The future of vaping EVERYWHERE depends on it!

A very humorous and accurate response BUT, anything in the way of legitimate, factual rebuttal???T-a-r-d-e-d Advertisement for a T_a-r-d-e-d Readership.
wow that is horrible!! Putting that right under an ad that was paid for by the vape shop! Maybe I'm missing something....but why on earth would a flavor manufacturer heat the flavors anyhow?? They aren't making juice. The flavorings began as food flavorings that folks use in their kitchens. I don't have docs, but it might be good to contact a few of the flavoring manufacturers, email them a copy of the ad, let them know what you need. After all the demise of vaping will affect them too somewhat, since this has obviously added a good bit of income for them. Here's the add just as it appeared on the front page of the "free press" newspaper, right below the local "franchised" vape shop add (tell me THAT didn't take some "greasing"!):
