Clapton Wire for TFV4 Single Coil RBA possible or impossible? Thoughts anyone?

Hi guys would it be possible to use clapton wire for the TFV4's single rba? Thanks ECF fam!

I wouldn't see why not. Just wrap it under the screw heads carefully, rather than through the holes in the deck.

Also, smok announced a new "Clapton dual coil" head and "Clapton rba" head coming soon that would make it much easier to build.

I built one for my SO. Just make sure your core wire is small enough to fit in the deck holes and strip the outer wire back enough to feed them in. Works great. I do the same thing on my Lemo 2 as well. The only thing you gotta be careful of is actual coil size. A long as it sits properly on the deck and air flow, it's good.

I've been using a 26/30 or 26/32. You can use whatever you prefer or have on hand. Just strip the outer wire from where you bend it so it can go in the holes. The current runs through the core anyways.

Just make sure to put it on a meter before firing and after glow/compression. And as always check the screws after you glow cuz they do back out a bit.
