I have Bin looking around and can't find much info on what rda'a can be converted(drilled out) to Bottom feeders

Depending on your tooling you can either drill right thru the centre pin from top to bottom, or dremel a channel up the side. Choose the easiest!

Most of the RBAs you mod will be SS - and it's hard to drill, so cutting a channel maybe easier.

I try to drill mine with the centre post in place to begin, and if it starts to spin, then i take it out and clamp it in a vice having started the drill path.

Igo s2 bottom feeder part 2 - YouTube

I know about the SS I have enlarged few air holes I got several high quality drill bits I have access to a drill press so I should be able to drill these pins out I have a few rebuild kits from my Reo's so I am going to use Robs setup for the pin through the 510 and the bottle connection
Again thanks for the help

I'm really happy with my Reo's just like they are I don't want to mess with perfection :) Thats why i want to build a mod and bottom feed atty's so If I screw it up I don't wreck my Reo's :)

I bought half a dozen attys off Fastech for about $25. Let me learn what works best for modding. There are a bunch for under $5 if you want something inexpensive to practice on.

Exactly what I did :) The quality is cheap but if I screw up the drilling I don't care If it works out good I will spend the money on an authentic
Helios and mod it it's my favourite RDA so far Once you try bottom feeders there is no going back!

Just did a Ehpro Trident V2 this weekend...it has an adjustable copper center pin. Even though I'm not a big fan of "slotting" I did slot the copper pin. Then I drilled 2 holes (to feed dual wicks) through the SS stationary center pin, right at the deck angled down and in at about a 60 degree angle. Works great.

The Ehpro Atomic has a pressed pin, and it's in there pretty good. I've done 3 of them now and have gotten pretty good at it...drill your vertical juice hole first, 1/16" cobalt bit, slow as your drillpress will go, lots of lube, do a 1/8" peck, but because of the deck lip you have to take the pin out for the horizontal or the hole will be above the deck (and lose your suck-back)...before you remove the pin, score it at the deck line with a knife, remove the pin and use your score line as the drill center, I use a 1mm bit for that, whle you have the 1mm chucked, expand the coil lead holes (they're really small for some reason, 2x 26awg is a pain to get through).

and as a final touch, chuck the thread end of the screws into your drillpress (not too hard) and file the screw heads down a bit (they are serious close to each other) then polish the srcew ends down on some 400 grit wet/dry on a hard surface (less chance of shearing your coil legs)...do that and you'll have one awesome BF RDA for $25
