I got a Reo on a whim, and I just love it.

I paired it with a LR 306 and the vape and the bottom feeder experience are great (first bottom feeder as well).

I have a few things to ask, though, and I hope you'll be kind enough to answer although they've probably been answered a few times before...

1) What is the best way to fix the door issues? - it rattles on the bottom, and sometimes wants to slide topwards...

2) What is the overall agreement on the use of Kick in a Reo? Do most people scrape off some of the coating or use some form of conductor to the bottom spring?

3) What is a "reducer tube"? How is it used?

4) Is there any rebuildable atty that works with a Reo / bottom feeder? I'm happy with Cisco specs, but I am paranoid about the future of supply availablity.

Thanks!

I started a thread called "Loose Door" It will get tighter as the magnets get stronger. Some have a schlick-click habit of sliding it. worked for me. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/285947-loose-door-new-mini.html

Some are using a kick, and from what I have read, a wire is used most. also a thread here on that. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/238603-kicked-reo-grand.html

I have no idea on the reducer tube. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/279420-reducer-tubes.html

I remember someone looking at rebuilding atty's in REOVil' don't remember who. Based on Cisco's.

Someone get him a REO Banana Dance!

A little bend and a little tape made it perfect!

THe door issue is easily fixd by wrappng electrical tape around the battery. Leave a tab on the tape. This make the battery easy to remove and the thickness of the tape make the door rattle disappear.

THe Kick works great in the Grand. THere are many different ways to use it. I use the eraser mod. Others use the "Kick Stand." Some run a wire and others use conductive tape.

THe reducer tube is used if you have a problem with the mod self feeding. This is not used often. THe tube is inserted inside the main tube thats inthe bottle. If you have no problems with feeding issues you don't have to do anything with it. Most Reonauts do not have a need for the small tube.

Rebuildable attys are not on the general market. There is someone inthe Philipines that modifies and atty and it works but no one that I know of inthe states has one. THere are some people working on this and I can see inthe near forseeable future that there will be one as there is a demand for this.

Enjoy your Grand. 306s are a great atty for the Grand.

Thank you.

I use the eraser mod.

Right now, with the tape and bend, this thing feels compact, as a I imagined a "mod made of a solid block of aluminum" would. As for feeding issues? Are you kidding? I am strongly suspecting magic at work - the feeding just works unbelievably well. I was skeptic before - thought for sure it's inconsistent, leaky and so forth, but NO! It is amazing!

If you bought yours new, the reducer tube should have come in the little ziploc baggie with the extra bottle. It is really small and really clear, so its easy to lose before you know you even have one. It's used to slowing down the flow of juice so you don't autofeed. However, in most cases, it isn't necessary. You don't have to use the whole piece,...as you can see below, it doesn't need to go that far into the feed tube.

I know this is a little off topic but what do you mean by future of supply availability. Is there something going on I don't know about?

Welcome to the gang. I think the only open question now is about the rebuildable atty.

Well, the GG Odysseus dripping mode will work fine on a REO, but you will need a 510-510 adapter with an open center post (not "sealed"). I had a thread somewhere about it, but most (myself included) just use Ciscos, io6, HH357 or similar atties on a REO =)

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

I didn't mean anything about the future of supplies. I am not privy to any secrets :) Just a more caution interpretation of all known facts. I am just expecting more regulation and a more corporate dominated market. While juice will be the first vulnerable thing, ripples in the market might eventually lead to difficulties in buying disposable atomizers...

Atomizers are so easy to build in a halfway decent machine shop - regulating them would be futile.

Indeed. That's why I admitted it was just "paranoid" of me.

Anyway, on to question #5: bridged or bridgeless?

I just debridged the 306 I was using, and I think it's better. For dripping I use mostly / only bridgeless 510s, but I'll probably try 306s for that too now.

Anyway, to me right now it feels like it's working better, but it could be placebo :) What do you guys think?

The e-cig industry is facing regulation by the FDA. There is a possibility that getting supplies - more likely nic juice rather than hardware, but still - online may stop being an option depending on how the FDA rules.
