after the wash it took me about 10 minutes to get that glass taken off the chamber, some gorilla must have put the Siren together because the top flat o-ring (the white pad) at the top of the glass was put together so tight that the whole pad/o-ring was inside the top of the glass tank and seemed to be almost glued to the glass itself. I ended up taking a good 10 minutes with my pocket knife just to get the white pad/o-ring gently scraped off the inside of the glass, none was on the top of the glass and I worried about vacuum leaks. I replaced the top white pad/o-ring on the top of the glass with one in the spares bag, and off to building I went.

Same here when I first got it.... except it was the bottom o-ring that was like melted to the glass.
Tore it up good trying to get it off... wasn't happy to start off down 1 o-ring ha!

Just took it apart to check on the coil/wick, o-ring sorta stuck to the glass.
Guess it's just they're so soft and thin...? No damage though

Was thinking I must need at least a wick change after 60ml (twice my usual time).
NOPER - just barely a light tan streak. Amazing.

Oh only had the mod 6 weeks, and the paint is just falling off it, and I am gentle with my mods, the mod is crap IMO, but the chip is amazing though, got a kanthal clapton coil in mine, running at 450F in TC and is a awesome vape, and as I don't like the mod due to the paint, tried adding the tank to a different mod, but the flavor wasn't there anymore, so it still gets used, even though the mod looks like crap now, just wish they sold the chip to other manufacturers.

Oh man, that don't look good, at all, Nailz. Now I'll be watching my Black and Silver ones a lot closer after seeing yours. I hope it's just the color Blue that does that, that's bad though, Sorry to see that. I went and got a Jwrap for one of my Silver Slice SE's just to see how that would look, and to see if it works, it's only been a week and a half since I put it on (had to use a hair drier on the Jwrap edges though, just to get them to lay down), but so far so good, cost $16.95 I think. That's an option though, www.jwraps.com.

I haven't heard any response from Digiflavor on my square o-ring request yet, I initially sent them an email on the 27th. They might be on their holiday and not due back till around Feb. 2nd or so, but I'll drop them another request in the morning (Sunday) and keep waiting for an response. I want those square o-rings for my 25mm Siren glass. I'll keep ya'll posted. It wouldn't be a bad idea if someone else would go to their site Digiflavor | Contact us and also ask for them. The more the better, if we all gang up on them maybe we'll get some response.

Hey Five-Two. Just a heads up that both "J" and "Skinz" regularly run 30-40% sales. I'm going to guess that we'll see more in the next few weeks (Prezzyday). So if you need something, it may be worth waiting. Save a buck or three.:)

I should look at Skinz, never have, to date.

This Siren sure is running Great for me. I love it.

I rewicked two yesterday, on a whim and without much care. I'm expecting them to leak, due to my lack-of-attention, but (knock wood) so far, so good.

What kind of setups you have in the 22 version of Siren? I have literally tried every single coil build in this, and all i get is a dry hit/muted flavour/afterburn/leaking. My patience is really coming to an end eith this one.

Sorry to hear this, Marko.

I'm not much into coil-art, so I just use plain 3mm diameter kanthal (power mode only for me), and some cotton. I cut it off just below the channels, then stuff the channels with extra pieces after wicking. For the most part it's worked great for me. Zero dry/muted, but an occasional leak, usually because I didn't stuff the channels adequately (an easy fix).

I also use a 3mm coil, and a 7mm or 8mm wide piece of KGD (if using a 2.5mm coil then I use a 6mm wide piece) with the top compressed layer removed (or not, you're choice). Not one leak upon re-fills, but I do get some condensation in the air chamber that I have to clean off from around the air flow ring and air hole on my 25mm Siren (BTW Marko, the decks on the 22mm and 25mm Siren's are the same size). Sounds like you still need to refine you're wicking and maybe raise you're coil up further away from the air tube Marko. I found out on my second tank full that when I had my coil too far down and too close to the air tube that my coil would drip juice down onto the air reducer and down the air tube and out the air hole and air adjustment ring. The wick gets real juicy, more so than any other of my RTA's, so juice dripping off the coil might be a problem if placed too close to the air tube.

Edit: I also cut my cotton about 1mm or 2mm below the deck to hang into the tank.

So sorry to hear you've had problems with the Siren. I've never had a dry hit with the Siren. I always get great flavor too! It's the easiest most forgiving RTA ever! I don't remember anyone else saying they had a problem getting dry hits with the Siren either. I don't have any suggestions for you on this at all unfortunately. The flavor improves the closer the coil is to the air flow diffuser, so you might try that. (The diffuser is the little round piece with holes in it that is directly under the coil.)

The only problem I have had with the Siren is if I don't have enough cotton in the wick liquid will seep out through the afc. It does take a while, maybe 24 hours for the wick to be broken in before it provides max flavor, but I wouldn't call the flavor muted even on a newly wicked coil at all.

I only do very basic kanthal coils and I haven't done any that weren't 25 mm diameter so far. My coils are built like Phil Busardo suggests they be built in the video linked below.

I've heard of people having problems with the Digiflavor Fuji, but not the Siren.

version 1.5, that's what I was meaning, their version numbering system is different than I am used to, so I kept calling it the V2. My Bad, sorry for the cornfusion, there is no V2, just the v1 and v1.5. The SXK Corolla v1.5 comes with a 1ml, 2ml, and 3ml tank sizes I think, at least mine is listed that way, from FT.

It does. Ya got the little itty bitty bear, the mama bear, and the papa bear that come with the tank. I've had zero use for the baby bear, and mainly use the mama bear.

OUCH, Nailz! My OCD just kicked in, BIG time.

Wrap it up. :D

Mine, Marko, are kanthal 2.5mm coils (no, not 25s, 52 ;) ), stuffed with rayon, and cut well above the bottom of the tank. I never thought it necessary to have extra wicking that seemed superfluous. Dry hits are normally from a lack of wicking. If you use cotton, try rayon. And vice versa.

And believe me (us), I understand the frustration.

For me, possibly UNLIKE others, the flavor didn't kick in on the Digi immediately.

As for leaking, I've always found a bit of "weeping" with this tank, and I presume it's a matter of condensation. If you remember the old karto tricks, it's easy to turn the tank upside down, and give a quick blow thru. Any excess liquid or condensation will escape via the air holes into a paper towel.

All these stupid millimeters, wish they would just go back to regular measuring, like the old days, instead of forcing us into a new Math.

Core work! :D
