Works well. This way your tank isn't putting on a balancing act via it's male 510 connection. And if for whatever reason it does leak, the leak is contained.

That's what I've been using. I also add a few large metal washers and hot glue em in for a little weight.

Forgot about that one.... I've been using spare, Shock mount washers, Domed Flatwashers about 2" diameter x 1/4" or so tall.

Oooh, good idea! I cut off about 2" pieces of pool noodle and hot glued them in an old ashtray...lol....can get 3 pieces in, and makes it easy to carry the ashtray between rooms
