Just when I thought it was safe to brag about this little guy....and I did too....this morning it just stopped firing. At first I thought it might be a low battery even though I was getting the right signal on the little led. Put in a fresh bat and it fired one time and died. Pulled the RM 2 and install the factory atty and it fired one time and died. This must be something simple. I will contact Kanger to see if this had been an issue for anyone else or if it just quits if the owner is a Cranky Old Man.....It worked flawless for one full week and was never dropped.

If your Atomizer(s) are making good contact with the mod's 510 pin, then it sounds like a Wire came Lose or something.

Sorry to hear about it. Because I know what a Drag it is to have something New go Belly Up.

What a drag! I'll be watching to see what happened, because I was thinking about getting one myself. Hope it's something easily corrected.

Okay, here's the latest...all bats and attys test good and work on other devices. While thinking about my problem, I tried connecting the Drip Box up to the micro charge port. It fired and continued to fire. Unplug it....dead again...so my question now is....where can I get a 50 yard long micro connector....<GRIN> It seems that MVS, where I purchased it from has this policy:
Refund/Exchange Policy
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any of our products regardless of whether they have been used or not. Please choose carefully. If you have any questions about our products, please contact us by email before placing an order.
Silly me for not looking at that first.....I did send them a polite note informing them of my problem and to ask if there had been any other similar issues that could lead to a solution. So far, have not heard back. I'd still like to have one of the guys, but would really prefer to get the problem fixed. I don't want to try and tear it down just in case there is a warranty.

Thanks for the update. Are the batteries making good connection inside the mod? Squashed tops perhaps....just thinking aloud.

As near as I can tell, the batteries are well connected. Of course I can't tell what the connection looks like at the top. Have not given up and so far, this seems to be an isolated problem. This is one of the reasons I remain....The Cranky Squonker!

You shouldn't have a problem getting an exchange with MVS, @rgerber. They've always been a stand-up vendor when it comes to support. Plus, on the listing for the Dripbox MVS states:

"This device will include a 30 day Limited Warranty against any manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. Scratches and discoloration from regular use is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered by warranty."
