'member WAY BACK when we all vaped in VOLTS (VV variable volts)

Volts? Way back? What volts? ;) Adjustable voltage was a huge breakthrough! A game changer...

Way back we had unregulated KR808 cigalikes, which started at 4.2 v and then would die at 3.4 v--an hour or so later.

The first regulated battery that appeared on the market, Mik Janty's eGo, not only lasted much longer but was the first e-cig battery that was regulated, which means it delivered the same constant voltage from the beginning to the very end of its cycle and it was another breakthrough. The only problem was that it was regulated at 3.4 v only.

ETA: Actually, joyetech 510 cigalikes were regulated also, before the eGo, iirc, at 3.4 v...

just peeps "curious" about it don't be afraid, just try it...

the lil' AL85 is pretty cool

the main thing to me is the 'fire-bar' , unlike the Pico, it is always ready to go, no searching for that dang button

being the OS, (chip inside) is new to me I had and still need practice but I can whiz thru it now no problem-o

we will see if it stays on my desk or gets shuffled to the dark edge where things collect dust...

oh yeah, those Tron tanks

they are a great eGo ONE tank - it's just that STUPID " HIDDEN " air flow :-x

at a glance you can't see the position (open, closed, in the middle)

the way it works around here for me /// I remove the base, leave the tank up-side down
head for the sink and RINSE everything - air cavity, coil, air tube & drip tip, outside
so with the coil still inside the base, I blow thru the coil to clear any standing water
and yep you got ahead of me
upload_2017-3-24_0-52-52.png
that stupid hidden air flow directs the air stream (& water) right back in my face... :grr:

so that is MY pet-peeve with the Tron tank and the hidden air flow

:danger:

YES, perfection! Now I can sort of get a REAL idea bout the size (bout the size....).

I believe my shortest shortie is prolly the Hana One. Ya don't happen to have one of those, do ya Puffzzter?

I had this monstrous multi-quote going, but deleted it all. It's all been said, so I'll just say that I too am very happy with my vape.

Changing, not. I see no value (to date). "Sales pitches" will be wasted on me too (just FYI).

Dunno about you being wrong....... you're prolly right. But I'm with Fran and Krew. I need not throw more wattage at my vapes to have them perform perfectly, nor do I need to make the coils speed up. I like-a their speed as they are!

Color me non-TC, or PC, in most cases. ;)

We DON'T? OMG...... I hate Tron tanks then!!!!!!!

@Katdarling to see what you think of the pico in your hand, can you visit a B&M that carries it? For me my local store didnt have it so this is what I did: I cut a piece of cardboard the height of the pico and the length of all four sides. Then I scored it at the width and depth of the four sides, taped it at the seam and voila! I could hold it and get a good feeling of the size in my hand!

also, for the record - here is all the eGo ONE tanks produced (I think) plus bonus: two Wismecs that use CLR coils

    :matrix:
    :smokie:

There are 2 more(not joyetech) that i know of one made in Italy very expensive the name escapes me and another thats a knock off sold by FT that comes with a clr adapter and a yellowish kind of color tank.
The one made in Itay i almost bought but did not and will not.

As for the Tron-S i'll just stick with mega ones and the V2 tanks have plenty .
See some post about TC and VV i recall making some VV boxes with a and on bonus of the vv meter still have some of those and some boards etc.

I've read reviews stating the KSD Vamo 1 tank also accepts CLRs. Really like the look of it but only 2ml capacity so I won't be checking it out.

I gotta stop ordering these CLR coil heads. I just ordered 4 more boxes from FT. This gives me a total of 7 boxes, not counting the 5 heads already in use. There's no way I'll ever use all of these. I need to divert my attention from now on, and practice some self control. :)
