Did my first CLR recoil this morning. Could not have been simpler.
Now to play with various wire gauges and resistance factors to see what I like best.

I may need to try some of the .5 ohm coils to rebuild with the smaller airhole in the pin.
I have the airflow in the 2.5 ml tank almost complete closed and and would like to see how the smaller coil intake affects airflow.

Has anyone tried both? What difference is there in airflow?

Congratulations!
They are easier than a lot of coils I have done, easy to rewick too!
To me, there's a big difference in air flow between the larger and smaller pin holes.
I use the smaller pins exclusively as I'm a tootle puffer through and through. :)

Just got my black and white EOMV2s. Re-wicked the 0.5 coil with rayon.

Very nice STL vape similar to my Subtank Minis.

Definitely need to pick up the full-black Pico now.

Very nice!
I see the army of mods standing at attention in the background. :)

I bought both the 0.5Ω and the 1.0Ω coils because I wasn't sure if I would get a good STL vape (I am).

I assume the bottom pins are interchangeable, and other than the pins the coils are identical?
they are interchangeable. @GranFumador has done pretty extensive testing with various combinations
of pin size and coil types. Mix and matching for interesting results.

Other questions.
Anyone have the V2 2ml tank? If so, how much does it really hold?
I just tested the original 2.5 ml tank and it holds 2.7 ml chock full but not overflowing.

Also what is the actual height of the tank. I just looked at the joyetech site and it gives the size of both the 2 ml and the 4 ml as 19 mm diameter x 42 mm height.
Wouldn't that require magic?

The 2.5 ml tank is 19 mm diameter x 39 mm height.

I don't know why these details fascinate me so much.

I just re-wicked the 1.0Ω coil with rayon and and it's good for MTL but wouldn't say its MUCH better than a rebuilt GS Air coil in the GS series of tanks.

I think I will use these tanks for restrictive STL vaping. Very happy you guys talked me into purchasing these.

Please confirm which coil ohm has the smaller pin hole - the .5 ohm or the 1 ohm.
I think I misread something and - flunking search - can't find what I read.

:) as has been stated, the cooler coil has the small hole(1.0Ω), hotter coil has the bigger hole (.5Ω)
they can be switched, there is no diff between the coils as far as I've seen...

here's a snapshot of the whole family tree

Thanks @pufZeppelin.
So how tall is the 2 ml tank itself? Is it really 36 mm not including the drip tip?

eGo ONE V2 Atomizer:
Size: 19.00mm*36.00mm
Capacity: 2ml

eGo ONE Mega V2 Atomizer:
Size: 22.00mm*42.00mm
Capacity: 4ml

The pictures on the joyetech site do no match the written dimensions given.
