I sort of thought they might be also but according to our Mad Scientist there's some differences in at least some of them. Favorite tobacco flavoring discussion - Tobacco flavoring discussion only | Page 52 | E-Cigarette Forum

As it happens I mixed up some of the BCV "Chinese" french pipe over the weekend. The VZ french pipe is sort of maybe very light chocolate and vanilla or maybe dried fruits (I just can't tell but tastes good to me) with what I taste as cigar in the background. Delicious. The BCV french pipe I got is also very good. Not steeped yet but solid burley and virginia blend (reminiscent of VZ real cig to me, maybe a little heavier on burley) with something sweet I have no idea what it is. Both very good but very different.

Inawera french pipe is sort of like light M type with something sweet. I don't like that one.

I goofed. The 7Leaves is I have is FlavorArt. I'll edit my original post.

I recall you were using 7Leaves at 10% - a good indication of a bad batch. Mine is beginning to degrade as well; probably 18 months old from its birthday Lol. Where did you orders yours from, so I could avoid them. Got mine from MyFreedomSmokes - good at the beginning but not now.

I got a 30ml 7Leaves from ecigexpress in February. The lot number on my bottle says 2014/1927, not sure what the 1927 means.

Not to bash a vendor but I noticed that I bought a 120ml bottle of rebottled HS Desert Ship back in march 2015 and noticed today that the same 120ml DS went up 11 bucks..gezzz. I can get a 50ml original packaging DS for 14.75 from a different vendor so that 150mls original for less than 120mls rebottled...go figure.

BTW, what color is your final liquid when steeped? Mine used to be pale regardless of age, but the latest batch is an intense yellow. They said that was natural, but I am skeptical.

My 7leaves is close to a month old and almost totally clear. If I add the nic then it would turn a very light pale. Its no where near the golden color all my Hangsen tobacs end up becoming.

I'm not sure of what the explanation is but mine is exactly the same. Same color, same smell, and when a drop on the back of my hand from each bottle tasted the same, I knew it was going to vape the same and it does. The only thing I can think of at the moment is that maybe BC sent you the wrong flavor.

Like you I have trouble identifying the exact flavors but I am in total agreement with your sort of maybe's and conclusion of delicious lol. I'm glad because I want to keep the flavor in my rotation and not pay shipping on a separate order if I ordered from somewhere else.

Oh crap, then it must be they sent the wrong one. It is labeled french pipe. I like it so now I have to figure out what it is. :(

Gives you a great reason to try them all until you find it!!! :vapor: Fwiw, my VZ Cigar matches your description fairly close, to my buds anyway. Especially if you can talk yourself into wondering if there might be a hint of chocolate in it as well. I sometimes argue with myself whether there is or not.

I'm in the process of mixing up 5mls of the other flavors. I'll report back later.

...and, if you try French Pipe from Tobacco Express (Ecig Express)...it is exactly the same. They also have Cohiba and many others, this line is excellent as soon as you don't buy the ones that replicate chinese cigarettes...too spicy to me.
However French Pipe, Cohiba, Seven Stars, KNT, Mile Seven, Parler, RealCig...all different and very good.

I make an excellent tobacco base that is rather dry. Most simple thing! Inawera Garuda TA, 15 bottle drops per 10ml. Very satisfying...the exhale is a delicious, cured tobacco. No chocolates or nuts or anything. I enjoy it right after mixing it but of course it improves with steeping (not too long one, 1 week is enough). Very clear and very gentle with coils. From there you can add whatever you like (EM, AP, Menthol, or other flavors) But I really like it without adding anything else, (maybe because I was a heavy black tobacco smoker for many years).

Tried M type. Eww. I don't get leathery from it. I get something you would find on the ground behind the animal on the other side of the saddle.
Yeah I didn't like it either but I did get leathery.

Is there a good "leathery" tobacco flavor? I've tried a few store bought mixes with a leathery taste to them and liked them, but it was either too strong or too weak. I'd like to try one for myself. Any suggestions?

By leathery do you mean tanned leather, a/k/a a dung note? VZ gourmet snuff box tastes like dung / tanned leather.

Taste I agree but the color of mine is sort of a golden amber. Once mixed it is pretty clear though with just a tinge of color so I guess that's what you meant. And it does seem to be easy on coils based on the 3 or so ml that I've vaped so far. It's stronger than what I though it would be and 2% seems about right for me. I can't wait to mix this with some of my other flavors to see what I can come up with.

As far as my other two flavors (SC Cohiba, Hangsen Arabic), I really like them both. I don't think I could add anything to reviews that's already been posted because I can't identify the specific flavors so I'll just leave it at that.
