FDA deeming regulations for e cigarettes, what will it mean?

On the face of it the e cigarette regulations released by the FDA last week don’t look too bad. But now the dust has settled and several excellent minds have had a look, the devil it seems is certainly in the detail.
And very important details are the products and when they came onto the market. Products that were on the market prior to March 25, 2007 will be grandfathered in.
But was anyone selling e cigs in 2007?
While you are scratching your head thinking about who exactly was selling e cigs in 2007, read on…
Products that came onto the market after 2007 will be allowed to stay on the market while under provisional market review. Anything that came on the market after March 2011 though must have FDA approval before being sold – so any product released after March 2011 will have to be recalled until they have the OK to sell them from the FDA.

So one very positive move you could make would be to join CASSA and support them, as they are an incredible consumer advocate and have been fighting for vapers up and down the USA with a great deal of success.

I would also suggest you order in the popcorn, as you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be plenty of court cases to come on this issue.

Nice and I don't understand why or on what grounds is there an assumption it's possible to go to court. This is it.

Here's an ad for ecigs from 2007.
Welcome back to the future?
