Not surprised really that Jacob Sullum authored this article. He is without a doubt the most prolific pro vaping writer around, writing pro vaping articles as far back as early 2009, even before the FDA was given authority to regulate. In fact, i first found out there is such a thing as an electronic cigarette after reading one of his articles.

Enjoyed reading, Skoony. Thank you. Where does she ger her funds to stay in business?

I don't think that "Doctors" like this actually make any money from practicing medicine. (or any contributions to science for that matter) They stay in the profession only long enough to leverage a media career spouting the agenda of whoever is going to pay them the most.

@choochoogranny , @bobwho77 Dr. Cuomo's medical credentials are impeccable.
She doesn't appear to be practicing medicine anymore. She blogs,writes books, is
on the Board of directors of LessCancer (non-profit) and a media darling for any
thing related to her field of study.

Kind of makes my point, doesn't it?
Her credentials ARE impressive, and I'm not talking about what kind of doctor or how good a student she was. She isn't currently practicing medicine because she's making her living from books, speaking, and media appearance fees. The book, and her media appearances generally promote HER personal agenda. I don't have a problem with her doing that (or her agenda, either for that matter) but she's claiming expertise outside of her specialty, and pushing misinformation to sell her opinion.
The lawyers, and politicians of the Cuomo family would eat her alive. She should know better

"Because of their chemical composition" sounds scientific, all right.

Does anyone else remember the '50s sci-fi classic The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester (also published as Tiger, Tiger)? In it, the anti-hero meets a degenerate clan who call themselves 'The Scientific People' and can only parrot phrases they've read in pre-Apocalyptic books, for example "Quant suff!"

Quant suff, I say...
