I enjoy some of the demo/review threads just to get a feel for my equipment. I don't usually watch them for actual recommendations for equipment, just sometimes a video is worth a thousand words and user manuals.

Agreed. But many that I see are done before the reviewer got to really know how to use. I'd like to see comprehensive segmented videos that are like a video manual.

I agree with many of the above posters though. YouTube is great for little how-to's, especially when your new to a tank or a mod or even new to vaping but for mod recommendations I don't trust it so much.

As a consumer you want to know how a mod stands up over time with daily use. .. everything is great straight from the box within reason for any mod but I want to know what problems might pop up in three months or 6 and if it's still gonna run in a year..

So, YouTube is fine for some things as it gives you a general feel for things but I'm not buying something just because some idiot says it works fine the first time he uses it..
