Aloha ECF, and welcome to all the newcomers! (I'm one of them!)

Great video from Phil Busardo which explains a ton of information for beginners, and a lot of information for vets too who are not so technically inclined!

No, I'm not Phil Busardo, and I certainly don't mean to steal any of his thunder! I just really think this video needs to be seen by the beginning community! It explains a lot of great information!

I want to get a VAMO but I have no idea what to set it at. I guess this helps. I feel like I need a degree in electrical engineering just to smoke a damn cigarette.

Simple rule of thumb for VV, take the resistance of the carto and add 2 to get the voltage close. Paul eludes to this in the video if you listen, but doesn't outright say it. 1.5 ohm carto, add 2= 3.5v 3 ohm carto add 2= 5v etc.
For VW most want to start at 8watts then adjust from there, this is why so many like the VW, for the "set it and forget it" aspect. I don't buy into every juice tasting the same in every carto at the same wattage, but I'm opinionated like that.
