Help! Disassembled my Nautilus Mini BVC Coil, is this the ceramic wick or the new cotton wick?

So I just opened the coil up and see three sheets that look like cotton, but I'm not sure. There's also a small screen circle, is there a way to tell if this is ceramic or cotton?

I'm concerned after hearing all of these possible dangers with the ceramic wicks, just got the premium kit in March but I'm new to this and wasn't sure if this looks like cotton or ceramic?

If you got it in March it's very likely the cotton wick. If you rub the material between your fingers, does it flake apart easily?

Try pulling it in two directions. If it fights you a bit and takes a bit of effort to pull apart, it's cotton. Also try what nyiddle says and rub it betwen your fingers. The ceramic cloth shreds to oblivion, even when a bit wet. The cotton will just kind of roll up on itself and eventually pill up like a lint ball.

If you got the newer coils (cotton), in your kit, this card, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...arger-wicking-holes-stock-5.html#post15478482 (post 200 if it doesn't link right), should have come with the kit.

No need to go to all that trouble. The cotton coils have a warning card inside the box. It starts with the word Warning at the top. Not easy to miss. It informs the customer to prime. The word cotton is used so it is clear which coils you have By looking at the holes on the side of the coil the cotton is whiter than previous material.
