These GTAs I feel work best without cotton tails running to the bottom of the tank which is a mistake I see quite often. Your wattage looks fine for the coil you are using. As long as the coil is not shorting on anything and dosnt have the mother of all hot spots I think you probobably have the cotton wrong. I use 3mm id coils on my Fuji GTA. I comb my cotton out with tweezers to make it fluffy and heres the biggy. Cut it so the cotton is just barely peeking out of the barrel. There is no need to have it any longer as tilting when vaping will keep it plenty saturated.
