How high about the deck do I install the coil? (another newbie question, sorry)

Approximate is fine, I've just been looking at pictures, and most of them are top view. I built my first coil last night, but I was unsure about placement. It was functional, but I'm not sure it was good.

And I've looked at some, but if anyone can recommend a good tutorial so I can improve, that'd be awesome.

What tank is it? General rule I follow is to line it up with the airflow.

Clone of the Monster v2, which is a modified kayfun clone.

I'll have to look inside, the AF I can see is bottom airflow underneath the deck. But thanks, now that you say it, I remember hearing that somewhere, too.

On a kayfun about 2mm or more. Closer than 2mm leads to excessive leakage from condensate.

How I do it is with side airflow I set the coils high enough that the airflow just hits the bottom half of the coils. On bottom airflow I set the coils as close to the airflow as possible without hitting the deck and centered over the airflow. That's how I like it best.
