It's my first reg'd mod, so I'm not familiar with the process. I downloaded the driver. Downloaded the update. Plugged it in. Says connected. Clicked update. Nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have the software that installs the drivers and update?
I had problems at first. I installed everything, it detected the device but errored when i tried to select and upload the update file. This was on windows 8, i re downloaded and installed multiple times with no joy until i tried on my laptop with win vista and it worked first time.
I don't know if maybe there is a problem using windows 8 or if i did it wrong at first.

ok. open that program, called yihi sxi connect your ipv4 via usb to your computer, make sure the batteries are out of it. then click connection and click install driver, then click connect, then click return and click upgrade then click open file, locate the upgrade firmware file, select it then click upgrade
Oh one thing i forgot to add you need to take the batteries out when you do the upgrade.

This is the error i got when on win 8 and tried to load the update file. As i said above it worked fine first time on my laptop with win vista.
