Hello all,
I'm just about ready to try my hand at DIY, I just bought this nic, here is the info ,
120 ml of 100 mg Flavorless USP Nicotine Liquid
10.0% or 100mg USP Grade Nicotine 99.9% Pure.
Mixed with the highest quality Propylene Glycol USP Grade Kosher Certified or Vegetable Glycerin USP Grade Kosher Certified.
- See more at: 120 ml of 100 mg Flavorless USP Nicotine Liquid - E Cig eGo, E juice, Mods, Cartomizers, Liquid Nicotine, DIY Flavorings

using this nic I want 24 mg when making a 25 ml batch, I'm calculating this to be exactl 6 ml, am I right?

Thanks to to all who respond

Yup, calculators are great, but always worth doing a rough mental check to make sure :)

24mg is about a 1/4 of 100mg, so you want about 1/4 of your final juice to be the nic.

I'm lazy - I vape at 11 to 12mg, and always at 50:50 (roughly) PG:VG, so I premix a large-ish bottle of 12mg 50:50 that I can then use without thinking (the flavouring drops the nic level, and raises the PG level a bit, but I stick to less than 10% flavouring so it's not by much - 10% extra PG would make it 55:45). To add to the laziness, I buy nic at a strength that makes the dilution simple :)

Man... I wish I could hit the Like Button about 20 Times for this.

I remember I gave a test once and one of the Questions asked to find the Radius of the Earth if the Circumference at the Equator was 24,900 Miles. A student came up to me and told me marked his Question wrong when it wasn't.

I said OK, what answer do you have? He told me the Radius of the Earth was 720,000 Miles.

I smiled and said, "How can the Radius of ANY Circle be Larger than the Circumference?"

Undaunted, he proceeded to Pull Out his TI-89 and Furiously type numbers into it. And then with a Defiant Smirk pointed the Calculator in my Face and said, "See.. See. It's 720,000 Miles".

Hahaha... that's quite far out, even allowing for it being in the wrong direction! :D

You would be Amazed if you ever got a Chance to Grade Math Exams for a Semester.

There is such a Blind Faith that some people put into a Calculator. Or a Piece of Software. Many seem to Trust the Result that is Given verses standing back and Asking...

"Does That Make Sense? Could the Radius of the Earth Really be Bigger then the Circumference of the Earth?"

LOL
