why is it doing that and how do i fix it? It tastes like the juice I had previously in there......for some odd reason. What do I do to eliminate the crackling and popping sound?

Crackling and popping isn't actually a bad thing. Many of us like it. Correct me if I'm wrong people but is just the coil heating up the juice.

Clearomizer actually cracking = bad. Some juices like cinnamon can actually crack a clearomizer but if its just crackling and popping when your taking a vape ur fine!

and the white thing fell off it......i forgot to add that part i had to put it back on dunno if i did it wrong (put it on the outside of the metal...should it be on the inside?
popping crackling is the juice being vaporized normal for 99% of the tanks out there
tell us what type of tank you have and what does the white thingie look like whats it made of ( soft, hard rubbery O shaped, cup shaped?)
it's an iClear30 Clearomizer and the white thing is soft and its at the top where you screw on the mouthpiece part and it fits just above the wicks. its soft and rubbery, and fits around a metal piece thats in the middle running up and down from the mouth piece to the bottom of the clearomizer, it's got a small hole in the top of it.
That piece is the seal that prevents the juice from getting into the mouth piece. It does go over the top of the metal tube, not on the inside. However, there are 2 sets of wicks, one above the other, and the cap has a set of slots that needs to line up with the top set of wicks in order for it to be able to be pushed down far enough.
Drain and disassemble the iClear. once you remove the top cap and tank from the base, you will be able to see everything. Line up the slots in the cap with the top wicks and push it on there. When you re-assemble the tank, be sure not to fill it up past the "full" line, which is at the bottom of the cap. If you do, it might flood again.
You may need to burn through any excess liquid that made it into the coil assembly.
