Snap, Crackle & Pop

Sometimes when I vape, I hear a snap, crackle and pop.

Is this a good thing, a bad thing, or does it not matter?

What causes the sounds? Is it just the sound of the coils heating up the juice?

Means tasty vapor is on the way


Its just air pockets in the juice escaping as the liquid heats up think of oil on the stove for French fries the way they sizzle and pop

Ah the music of vaping lol. I think it's from the coils heating the wick and releasing the vapor. Sure it's something more scientific than that but that's my opinion I do know that I got more "music" from my tanks than I do from my dripper.

Since I use unregulated mods that's actually how I check my batterieshold it to my ear and check for a strong crackling

As long as it's not gurgling, you're good to go. It's just the coils way of saying all systems go.

You're just on your way to a long day of vaping then! Vape on man and its not a bad thing at all ,but if it ever starts gurgling you most likely flooded your air control or got fluid in the chimney.

I was told that If the coils were as close to the deck as possible it would cut down on this.

I get an extremly big pop/explosion on my lemo2. It only happens when it's first used, then settles out and provides great vapey goodness. It is loud enough to scare the stuff out of you though. This is with the pre-built coil and wick that comes with it.

I get some "rice crispies" sound - I find it comforting

Sometimes a new build will do this, but after a 'break in period' it stops. I attribute this to the fibers in the wick being spaced out by the ejuice and eliminating the air pockets.
Just my theory.
