It may be that at low temparatures these wires don't emit anything. I use temp control exclusively and keep wire temperature below 450 degrees. If there was an experiment where all three commonly used TC wires were heated a few hundred time would there be anything of concern emitted? Or perhaps the emilssion would be trivally low and no important difference between them. It might be that the risks of vaping are from incinerating liquid or using a questionable flavor or simply vaping more ml's per day than your body can tolerate. My goal is to vape no more than 6 ml per day and no more than 25mg of nic. The low ml's are to minimize lung irritation and the low nic is so my nic stash lasts longer in case of government interference. I'm also working to get the percent of flavor to the lowest amount possible. Right now I'm vaping a commercial pre-mix that I cut 4 times then added back some nic.

True ...as the heat flux increases so does the possibility of unknown carcinogens.
There is also an unknown factor of the flavor reactions to various coil wires
Kanthal / Ni / TI / SS.

SS seems to be a logical safer choice as it has been in use for years in
Industrial / Household / Medical fields for various applications.

An interesting study of various coil wires and their safety can be found @
Resistance wire safety guide

On a Side note....

I do see a flavor difference when comparing the same flavor, same build on Kanthal & SS
either tootle puffing or sub ohming.

SS seems to be cleaner and smoother.....(perception or placebo effect only time will tell).
So far I have tried SS builds most only tobacco flavors...
I noticed a difference in taste between temp control and watts control but that may have only to do with how the wire heats, not the chemical makeup of the wire. Regardless, do any of these various wires leach any of their material into the vapor in quantities that bear on health concerns. At 450 degrees and 30 max watts, my usual vape, my guess is no. I keep the power down for a bunch of reasons including concerns like this.

Leech Quantities to cause health concern...I presume not.
You are moderating your mg & ml intake and are cautious about the heat flux
and are utilizing temperature control...you are one of the safer operators.

There were times if you recall some flavors used to be tank crackers !

Flavors breaking the tanks without any extra ordinary heat being applied....
if it was mentioned a year before it was happening no one would have thought
a still liquid can react with tanks innards so drastically.

Wire's do react with liquid ...one just has to look at the coil gunk.

The difference in vape btw temp and watt / volt control will influence the wire and also the cotton / silica / hemp / rayon / SS Mesh whichever acts as the wick and does influence the
flavor profile....slow cooked food tastes much better than food cooked in a furnace.

I like to be cautious about what causes what. May be e liquid cracked plastic tanks, may be different materials were used and some fatiqued more easily than others.

I'd like to minimize nicotine intake so my stash lasts longer. I don't have a specific health concern.

I use temp contol because it makes rda's more practical, not because of health concerns.

I'd like to minimize daily ml's to reduce irritation. Breathing very high humidity air can be irritating even if the effect is minimal.

I doubt that 450 degrees is enough heat to leech things from the wire we use. But the best source of info would be chemists or metallurgists who know how these things usually work.

Thanks alot for your inputs! Really appreciate it. Its time to let go of my pet wolf and get a device that supports stainless steel!

Actually you can use SS in any mod quite safely as long as your build is within your battery capabilities.

You can use SS without Temp Control in Mech Mod / VW/ VV Mod's.

The ohm's do jump around (UP side) a bit as the wire heats up and cools down.

Steam-engine will your friend when it comes to selecting the heat-flux (cold, warm, hot)
vape you desire for your built coil.
