Malty Toffee and Casablanca Question

Hey everybody! Most of you probably don't know me but I used to be pretty active on these forums.

Been a couple years since I bought any Malty Toffee or Casablanca. I strictly vape BWB Cherry tobacco.

So I ordered a bottle of each and they arrived today. I haven't tried them yet, they were only born on August 7. But the colors are much different than I remember. The Malty Toffee is dark redish brown and I remember it being more orangey. The Casablanca I also remember being more orangey then it is now.

Has anything changed with them?

Not a big deal just curious.

I cant really speak for MT as I havent ordered any lately. I can say the color of casa is lighter. I can also say it tastes exactly the same.

I talked to Don about it right after he got the new batch of flavoring. It was manufactured fresh for him after the last shipment was faulty. He assumes the color difference is the freshness of the flavoring.

Other than color I couldnt tell the slightest difference

It's been a well over year since I ordered these two, but I remember the Malty Toffee being a light pink fresh and then steeping to a slightly darker pink. Casablanca was a golden with a slight reddish color to it. Never any orange for me, and we're talking the 2nd label editions.

I think the malty toffee tastes like I remember. I think.

It's really good. Really Really Good. There is a Werthers Original taste that I don't quite remember. But I might get 60ml next order.

I had to let mine steep for a full week. It left an aftertaste like cough medicine when it was fresh. eww. Now it tastes great. kind of like a Werthers, but with a kind of tanginess at the end. I really like it. I'm actually vaping it right now in my hh357.

Not sure about the MT but your Casa will darken considerably after about 3-4 weeks. I'm partially color blind so I have no idea what colors it goes through but when super fresh it's a light straw color then deepens to kind of an amber color. I think. lol
