got bored of messing up wicks all the time, so thought i would try something different. always seem to use kanger stuff, initially the evods, now the mini protank 3.
just like the size and it's easy to rebuild. i use a vertical coil, about 8-9 wraps of 0.28mm, wrapped on a 1.6mm piece of silver steel. then pack in some rayon, just enough to cover the coil, then slide in the chimney wick (sorry, not sure what to call it!!!). been using it about a month, with the same rayon coil packer (!?) and seems to work well! if the draw gets tight, i run a 1.5mm/1,6mm drill up through to clear it out and it seems to help!

it's made from PTFE, and has a small taper leading down towards the coil (doesn't touch it), and a couple of 0.5mm holes drilled either side to ease the flow a little!!! just cleaned and changed the rayon, so we'll see if it's as simple and effective as i hoped.........!!!!
