Claims to use less moving parts and reduce noise. I have not used a fan atty but heard people complain about the whistle and noise.

That concept is based on wind vortex turbulence, and all drippers which use fans have pretty much nothing in common with that specific concept, it is only uselful for producing electricity, not more airflow which is why fans are still being used in drippers, at least on the few ones
