I'm currently in the process of building a mod. It's based on the AWESOME mod build by "asdaq" seen here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/124775-brass-beast.html BRAVO on that design BTW, I loved it so much I had to copy it. Full credit where it's due hehe 
It's going to be slightly different, but will be built of brass, with two tubes (one holding the battery, and the other the switch mechanism) with brass end plates, and threaded rods holding the two ends together. I have most of the parts fabricated already, and basically have the whole thing put together, but just need the battery, and the female atomizer connection.
I have decided to use a 510 connection because of the huge support for the 510, but I'm still not sure what atty or carto to go with.
I would prefer a stainless steel atty or carto, or at least one that is silver colored regardless of the material it's made of because it would look much better with the brass steampunk looking mod. I looked around quite a bit and couldn't find any, does anyone know of a site that sells attys or cartos that are/look like stainless steel?
I was also curios about the mega cartos and attys made for the eGo. I know the eGo uses a 510 connection, so I'm assuming if I pick up some Mega Cartos/attys for the eGo they should work perfectly fine with a standard female 510 battery connection? Is there anything I need to take into account while using the mega atty/carto? I will be using a 14500 battery for my mod, so this should be plenty for use with LR attys correct? I'm not running any circuit or anything, just straight through the switch (custom mechanical) to the atty if that matters. I'm also not finding too many 14500 chargers out there, is there any other charger that will work with 14500s?
Also if anyone has any idea for an atty/tip or carto combo that they think would look good on a such a mod, feel free to post it. Any ideas would be welcome.
