New member- curious what it takes to post elsewhere

hi,
New to this forum, but member of several others. Just wanting to know what I need to do to be able to post replies on the forum. I signed up specifically to share my experience with building a 2 watt 455nm laser powered atomizer tank. There are a few threads relaing to this and when I try to reply I am told I basically don't have the experience or clout around here to have this priviledge.

Are the threads "locked"?
The new software locks threads 90 days after last activity.

Were you trying to post to a "close thread"? Threads are automatically closed after 90 days of inactivity.

It would be OK to post about your laser powered atomizer tank right here. I would certainly be interested in reading about it.

There used to be a rule that you had to have 5 posts in the new member section before you could post elsewhere, but it looks like that restriction has been lifted. Maybe it is just a glitch?

If it wasn't closed threads, I'm sure a moderator will be along shortly to help.

Correct. That was done away with months ago.

OP is most likely trying to respond to a closed thread.
