I started vaping 2 months ago and the local vape store sold me an m14 tank with an evod battery. They also sold me a pack of coils at 1ohm. This worked fine but I feared running out of coils so I went back to buy some more but they were out of 1 ohm and sold me .8 ohm coils.
They fire great and it vapes well, but my question is, is it safe to run .8 ohm coils on a little evod stick battery.

Thanks,
Chuck

for the record, I am not advocating on doing this. BUT

We (the guys around my town) used to build 1 ohm microcoils for kanger protank heads (same heads in your evod iirc), and they worked fine on most ego batteries. Granted, battery life dimished, but no overheating or stressing.

And also, some of the older ego styled batteries (irregardless to brand) would fire almost anything. Doesnt mean you SHOULD, but even one of my 4 month old ego passthrough 900 mah batteries will fire my 0.4 ohm goblin mini <.<; Not that I have officially tried that ^^;
