I bought some perique black from perfumer's apprentice. Wanting to know a recipe for it! If there is other types of flavors to mix in with this, or just straight perique black, let me know percentage of flavor etc to use and what flavors to add, if any! Thanks so much!

I don't know about that flavor specifically, but what I do when I get a new flavor and want to find out how much I should use is to do a series of tests.

I make a small amount (1 ml) of no-nic juice with 10% flavoring. I vape that (drip method), then keep trying different mixes, adjusting the flavoring % up or down until I bracket in on the right percentage for the particular juice. Then I record it for future reference.

If you make tiny batches like this, be aware that exact measurements are critical. Being off a tiny amount can really sway the percentage of the flavoring in the mix.

Danesnpits, I do have and use this one. Be patient and careful. Use at 1-2% to start. Really. Not kidding. I mix my PA tobacco flavorings at 15-20%. Not the FA tobaccos. They're incredibly potent. When I first started DIY'ing, I mixed this (and other FA tobaccos) at 15%. Two weeks later, I cut it to 7.5%. Next, 3%. Now, I'm able to use it -- in moderation. Great flavors though. Very rich.

Oh wow Bystander! I had no idea the perique black was so potent! So here is a question for you. Have you just used straight perique black? Or do you add other flavors to it?

Straight mostly. But in all honesty, I haven't used it that much. I've been playing mostly with tobacco absolute lately. It does get great reviews though. Oh, yes, I did use the very weakened version (3.25%) with one tobacco mixture with Tobacco Absolute. Nice flavor, but not balanced yet.

Here are a few recipes from ECF and other places that might give you some ideas:

Black Sundae (pharmboy)

1 part Perique Black flavoring from Flavourart
1/6 part hazelnut from Flavourart
1/6 part almond from Flavourart
1 part Toasted Marshmallow from Perfumer's Apprentice
1 part French Vanilla from Perfumer's Apprentice

I use this blend at 10%
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Cowboy Blend (Papa Lazarou)
For 10mls:
3 drops FA Perique Black (1%)
3 drops FA Cowboy Blend (1%)
9 drops FA Caramel (3%)
6 drops FA Coconut (2%)
3 drops MTS Vape Wizard (1%)
Nic and base to make up 10ml.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

GasMasque (WomanOfHeart)

This is for 5ml at 20% flavor:
All flavors are TPA
Caramel Candy – 45.5% (15 drops)
Jamaican Rum – 24.2% (8 drops)
Bavarian Creme – 15.2% (5 drops)
Cinnamon – 9.1% (3 drops)
Perique Black – 6% (2 drops)

We added an optional 2 drops of Blackberry just for kicks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Heartattack and Vine (Plasmatron7)
in 6mL base:
3 drops Coffee [w/ sweetener]
3 drops Desert Ship tobacco
1 drop Perique Black tobacco
2 drops bourbon whiskey
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

Mild Tobacco Blend (Kelly Brett)

15ml yield (could use more work)
14 ml base mix
9 drops fa virginia
8 drops fa maxboro
3 drops FA chocolate
2 drops fa burley
3 drops fa perique black
2 drops pa french vanilla
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Burley (K3vin)
in 10 ml. I added 2%perique black
1% burley
3% catalan creme
9.4ml. of 50/50 base nic
this is @ 20 drops=1ml.
4 drops of PB
3 not 4 drops of B
6 drops of cat creme
188 Perique drops of base nic
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

Serious Tubac (Kelly Brett)

10 ml pre-mix
12 drops fa virginia blend
2 drops black sesame
6 drops fa perique black
6 drops fa maxboro ult
6 drops fa burley
3 drops PA dark chocolate
4 drops PA dk tobacco

This needs to set for at least 2 days before the flavors mix and marry, don't give it a taste at 5 minutes and expect that to be the flavor.
