I had no problem at all ordering my PG at Walgreens once the pharmacist understood what I wanted. I did have to spell it out properly "propylene glycol", and tell them no, I didn't want the powdered stuff but the liquid like they use themselves as a mixing compound. It was no problem at all they looked it up checked to see it was what I wanted and ordered it for pick up the next day. I went in to get it the next day no problem at all. They even said that they would order it and if it wasn't what I wanted when it got there that it was no problem I would not have to buy it. It cost me something like $12.80 for 16oz. which is going to last me a long, long, long time. I think you just ran into the store idiot or jerk hard to say.
