15 wraps of 26 gage on the smallest drill bit I had ( 1/16 I think ) .....right at 1.0. vaping pretty good....and fixed what I hated most about the Magma. I haven't taken the top cap off once! Dripping right thru a shorty wide bore right on the coil. Both largest air holes open and only using 17.5 watts. Also doesn't seem to be so weepy.
The things I do when I get bored......:p

That looks VERY interesting Tmebs, and what you say about Not being so weepy is intriguing. I just stepped-up from my Tobeco Clone to an Authentic Magma since I liked the Clone so much. I'm gonna try Your style here and see what happens. Thanks for the "Food for Thought".

Tmebs, are you by any chance using Unflavored e-juice in that build ? I ask because your coils look the same as mine all juiced up, and I use Unflavored.

Sorry for the late reply (mother took a bad fall/surgery...three days hospital) but no my juice is a diy menthol/cream recipe thanks to Sgt. Rock.

This build vaped pretty good. When I build it normal/ the standard way I'm only about 1 ml off the deck.
This coil was placed pretty high almost even with post holes.

Kind of defeats the purpose of bottom air flow tho. One man's opine ion...
I was just playing around with it, was kinda surprised myself that it did so well, but it was up higher and centered ( most happy about that for dripping) and definitely got plenty of air flow...
No dry/ burned hits.

Ouch :(, Hope that She's do'in Better Now, I just spent 5 days in the Hospital Myself (HATED IT :grr:).

A Menthol/Cream sounds pretty smooth. I do Unflavored in a Lemo V2 and Unflavored/Straight Menthol mix in a Lemo V1 for the other. I'm looking for something else for my Magma (but I find that it has to be a bit on the, Oh what's the word I want...., Raspy or Rougher side) that's still similar to when I was do'in Camel Filtered with the filter tore off :smokie:. It's been a year since I got into Vaping and off the analogs but I still like that feel in the back of my throat. AnyWays.... back to topic.

I got my Authentic yesterday and will try your build out SOON. I've done Single, Dual builds and am still searching, so maybe this is the one ( I DO like 2.5 mm to 3 mm ID Coils though, but experimenting is half the fun for me). Thank You for the reply Tmebs. "This coil was placed pretty high almost even with post holes" This also helps as the pic didn't do that part justice. Thanks again.

PS. Corser (I hope I spelled that right) is the word I was searching for earlier.
