Does anyone know which battery will fit the Joyetech eGo-T 18650 Mod Device.

it' sounds like many are too long to be able to thread properly.

I'm looking at the following (I'm not entirely sure if they fit) and am open to knowing which others will fit and are safe

    • Panasonic CGR18650CG Rechargeable 3.6V Li-ion 18650 Battery 2250mAh, 3008
    • AW IMR "high drain" 2000mAH 18650 batteries

Also any suggestions of best places to purchase would be well appreciated.
    Thanks

I bought Efest IMR 18650 2000mah batteries on Ebay and got free shipping. They were for my Smok Tech. Gripper.

Both fit and I use both, as well as the Joytech (samsung) 2600mAh battery (for eVic)

All fit well in the eGo-T Upgrade Mod

Do you mean the eGo T-2? Mine came supplied with a TrustFire 2500 mAh 18650. (Grey jacket with black lettering.)

Yes the eGo T upgrade- regulated and unregulated mod. I'll look for the Trustfire as well for comparison. mine came with the Joyetech 18650 Lithium Battery - 2200mAh from MFS- blue unprotected and they have only lasted a few weeks. Thanks.

Only a few weeks? That is so not right. If it helps, this is where I got mine and you can see part of the Trustfire battery in the background. Also on the same page they are selling a Samsung 2600 mAh as their replacement battery. * JoyeTech eVic & APV Products

[Edit] Hmmm... you mentioned it's an unprotected battery. There is a possibility that it's under-voltage. If a LiOn battery drops below 3 volts (usually a lot lower than that) some chargers won't even try to bring it back, assuming it's defective.

The Trustfire I mentioned is protected. The Samsung at TVR is not.

You might want to look at this picture and identify which head type you have. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ube-18350-mod-unregulated-20130308_101247.jpg

It seems that the newest head has a longer positive pin which may be limiting choices more than the older heads. With the older slim head I could use almost any 18650, but with the newer one I suspect there's a few mm less available, so I'd recommend AW IMR to be sure of a fit.

I don't think it's dropped below 3.4. the unit it's self will start blinking at that point. I haven't checked them 'every time' but when I have before charging they have been about 3.4. The thing I haven't done up to now is check them after the charge. I'm reading here if they go above 4.20 it's bad.... what do you think of these hybrids?

the charger I have is a universal rated at output 420 MA

I have 4 of those, used in the Upgrades and in my VAMO's I suggest a real charger though.. something like the

Good price on the AW IMR but I've not heard of this vendor. Maybe they are new?
Decent charger too but out of stock.

    AW IMR 18650 High-Drain Battery (2000mah)

I checked my current charger and a battery fresh out was at 4.28. not sure if that is super bad or just a little bad or??

Will replace with the Sysmax Nitecore Intellicharger
