It seems to tick quite a few boxes that previous smok mods were lacking like easier to replace batteries without having to unscrew anything and no battery contact being made against a chromed brass surface.
Also the temperature control finally works it seems and shows a dry error when it runs out of eliquid.

One thing that may appear strange at first is where is the firing button! its now one large button almost thats one side of the mod where the led light is and can be pressed at the top or middle, bottom without any problems.

Also it appears to have the ability to change some extra settings like the temperature coefficient on the bluetooth app so maybe itll work with titanium wire but seems to be setup for nickel at first.

The led light can change colors too and be setup whichever color schemes you want.

So far seems good! maybe a strong contender for the dna 200 with the bluetooth connectivity.

Available for pre order at gearbest for $56.97 ending on the 15th july
Coupon code: XCubeII
takes it down to $55.9

Given the track record, I would avoid these guys like the plague. Also, as if there wasn't enough battery life to be drained, we now have a long strip of light and Bluetooth to eat away☺️

Such a rush to include features that really aren't anything to boast about with yet to be proven if they work at all. How about they took away all that and have a temp mode where I can change the coefficient of resistance so I can use something other than ni200. If they had a proper working feature like that that wasn't in PWM mode, I'd be all over this thing even for $100 even without half that nonsense there.

Most likely you can turn off the LED and BT if you want to conserve batteries.

And we have no idea if it actually will be ni200 only at this point. They claim upgradable firmware so anything is possible.

Pretty sure that BT to Phone app is the next big thing. Unavoidable really.

If that Bluetooth was included and can be paired with the DNA200's full software suite on the PC to monitor every statistic and make edits to temp curves etc... Only then I could see the usefulness of Bluetooth. The biggest reason I could care less for it is because we haven't solved quite a few more problems and questions about vaping - to be now concerned with Bluetooth (because it really is a gimmick). But I suppose a sucker is born every minute. No offense to anyone else, but I just don't get how the thing can be useful with the current features it provides.

No gimmick really, I know a lot of people who dont use their PC's anymore at all, Just phones and Tablets.

No one wants to be tethered to anything anymore.

Edit: I agree with you on the DNA200. I do not understand why they did not include a BT connection and a Phone app as well.

People that just use phones and tablets? Thats just weird.

What I was trying to say is, what does Bluetooth add to this device that I can't divine from looking at the screen on the device itself?

Also evolve didn't include Bluetooth because it's unessisary space being taken up and a whole slew of issues to be had. And like I mentioned before, what would Bluetooth allow you to do that you can't do with the screen on the device itself? Also they can't include an app for thier software on a mobile platform because t is so comprehensive, to the degree they don't have a Mac version out let alone a phone app. It's obvious they learned from the whole DNA40 mess up and want to test thing thoroughly and not try to revolutionize as much, but take steps. Which is opposite of what Smok is doing these days.

Well there are two very different things to consider.

Cars are huge and you can build anything electronic in them these days. They are also a mutibillion dollar industry that has had a century to mature. As you say, they have been around for years.

Vaping has none of those characteristics so the comparison could barely be less comparative.

Also like I questioned earlier, why would I want to do any Bluetooth to my phone ?
