Just in case anyone is wondering if waiting a month (or more) is worth it :)

I always think it depends on the juice. Custard types improve as they darken then turn a corner.
It's a good sign with tobacco blends, for sure. I vape them 'green' then enjoy the gradual improvement.
What I mean is - OP says there is a visual evidence that steeping is worth waiting.
For me this is an evidence of "something changed".

Does darker means better?

Does darker mean better? To me it just means the coils will clog faster.

First thing I see with a dark liquid.. either it has flavouring with molecules that are dark and get darker with oxidation, or the nicotine is now turpentined flavoured.

Trouble is, some liquid, this oxidation can help as it means that this oxidation of the flavour can bring it out more, while others, it becomes a very dark and wasteful flush..

Some sweeteners do this too.

So darker isn't always "better".

To me I see air space in the top of the bottle on the right leading me to conclude more air which leads to oxidation and the result is not from aging. This is my opinion due to the evidence being presented.
yup....
