TFV12-RBA-T coil problem

hi I'm new here so hope this is ok. got a tfv12 today, got the rba edition as I was wanting to use the triple coil but I have a problem. The triple coil deck does not screw into the base, it screws in about a half a turn then stops and will not go any further, it's doesn't reach the pin. The duo coil I also got with the tank screws in perfectly leading me to believe that is the threads on the triple that is the problem. Any advice?

I'm using the smok alien 220 and fuchai 200tc mods.

Not familiar with the device but is the threading too long or is there a burr or damaged thread preventing it?

Hi, thanks for the reply, threading looks clean with no damage, thread is same length as the one that fits. I was thinking it may be damaged thread as it just stops screwing down and won't budge further but looks fine. Thanks again

I used to keep a couple ego batteries that had expired around to "fix" that issue by torqing it down without worrying about damaging a mod.

Sorry I'm confused, just to be clear it's the rba coil head that won't screw down into the base of the tank. Will this "fix" help my situation? Appreciate it

No you are right. Any way you can contact the supplier and get a replacement part? Wouldn't want to see you ruin the tank base trying to force it.

Iv contacted them and waiting to hear back, in a strange situation as I'm from the uk and our vaping regulations went into effect on the 20th may, I hope this doesn't mess it up as the tank is now illegal to sell here. I'm hoping they can just send out the part thanks for your help.

Hello, i was just wondering if you found a solution to the problem your having? Im having the exact same problem and the same setup the rba-t on the tfv12 using the alien 220w. Just got the coil today and its authentic i checked onsthe smok site, but it doesnt screw down all the way and wont reach the pin.

Hi, I sent mine back to the seller(ukecigstore) and they determined it to be faulty and sent me a new one. That was the only solution available.
Hope yours gets sorted too.
