Welcome. :)

If an eGo firebird is what I think it is, can I ask where you bought it?

Be careful out there... that is a very temporary e-cig... those tanks are exceptionally outdated and it worries me you might be getting charged too much.

(I worry about these things... as the other forum members know all too well).

:)

Good going. When I decided to quit I could go 4-5 weeks without a cigarette and then just think hey ho and I'd spark up. Complete stupidity. I then got my act together and it's been a complete year now since I had a rollup, I started out on 16-18mg strength and as I write this I'm vaping some 2mg strength forest fruits :) I hope to pack nicotine in within the next couple of weeks as it's still the lesser of two evils. Anyhow I wish you luck with your journey. Take care

I had the same thought when I started vaping about 5 years ago. Just once is all it took though. Took a single puff and put out the cig. Tasted like crap.

Welcome to the forum Anne!
I am guessing you are from the UK due to the thread title (as am I).

What flavours/juices are helping you stay off the ciggies?[/QUOTE

Hey double ewe I'm in Ireland using the ego firebird and black fire wicked e juice, used to smoke 20 benson gold a day so I'm on the 24mg find myself vaping a lot I'm afraid I'm doing too much but has to be better than the smokes!!

I bought it from a store in cork in Wilton wicked I think it's called? Yeah I'm charging it a lot alright never letting it go dead I got two in the starter pack, do you recommend something else? It seems to be doing me good although to buy a few more automisers they burn out in about 10 days I found I had a bad day but as soon as I got the new one I was fine again!

Apologies for thinking you were from the UK when you are from sunny (hehe) Eire!

Your body will tell you if you are vaping too much, as long as you don't get the sweats, a headache, stomachache/nausea then you are all good :)

It is difficult to say whether you should get something else, if you are satisfied with your kit then you should stick with it for a bit until you know what you are looking for.
My recommendations would be to get into rebuildables, but that does require a lot of reading and all that, to learn how to make coils, check resistance and operate safely.

There is a lot of good kit around that is easy to use (and you don't have to know how to rebuild etc), a Variable Wattage Box mod (with decent batteries) and some kind of sub-tank type thing is very popular. Others may be able to steer you closer to what you want (specific models etc) than I can, as I don't use them personally...
