Hi All,

just been searching on the internet and have found this forum,

to give some background on me self, I have been a smoker for 14 years and 3 weeks ago decided to quit...

fast forward a week to 2 weeks ago and i was dagging for a ..... ended up getting a disposable "10Motives" EC from tesco. Amazing when ever i wanted a ... i just have a toke on that thing all good but the batterys ran out on me today (i was never a heavy smoker only used to smoke 1-2 a day)

so now im looking for a rechargeable one and here i am...

looks like i have a lot of reading to do! I want to buy something that will last as i really enjoy smoking (was a big social smoker really) and this allows me to continue my enjoyment of it with out the massive increased risk of death

Welcome to ECF! Everyone here's incredibly friendly.

I'd personally recommend an Ego starter kit and some Boge 510 LR cartomizers, along with a sampler pack of e-juice. Don't worry if that sounds like gibberish; it'll soon become second nature.

The Ego is a cigarillo-sized unit with great batter life that takes 510 threaded accessories, which are the most common.

Ok so after a lot of reading I decided to get a 510 kit ordered, im kind of interested to see how long a cart will last me as a disposable one lasted me over a week...

we will see,

I look forward to the world of vaping! my only worry is i might end up spending more than i did on fags!

also is a realistic goal to aim to be using juice with no nic in it, has anyone done that? (ease down the nic content untill you are nic free...)

they also have larger ego batteries that will last a little longer

ok an Update!

Im nearly a week in and I love vaping, why did i not switch to this before! I no longer stink and caramel is soo much better than tobacco...

had a couple issues in the first couple days, ordered medium strength juice and turns out that low diluted is far more me, so I have been vaping Caramel from vape-escape in a mix of 1 part caramel 6 parts pure VG (from cig eliquid)........... and it is good!

just gotta get my smoking friends onto it now.... im working on it,

either way, good vaping and a great forum

P.s. As for the gear, ended up with a Joyetech 510 auto (manual for me next me thinks) using Boge Cartos (diddent like the atomiser, cartos just seem to work way better!) and a free drip tip that was sent with my order! (Cheers Vape-Escape!)
